Discover Liwa is the guide visitors use for the whole Al Dhafra region, not just the festival grounds. Being in it puts a business in front of the people planning a visit, before they've decided where to eat, stay, or spend an afternoon. We're building this with the businesses that make Al Dhafra worth visiting, not selling it to them once it's finished. This page is what exists so far, and what we want to ask before we build the rest.
What's already built.
A visitor using Discover Liwa can already, right now, without you doing anything:
- Find you. Browse or search your category, and you're there, on the map, alongside everything else worth their time.
- Open your listing. See your photos, your hours, what makes you worth the drive.
- Save you. Bookmark you for later, no account needed, still there with no signal.
- Get directions to you. One tap, handed off to whichever maps app they already use.
- Visit your website. If you've given us the link, it's one tap away from your listing.
- Call or message you. Same, if you've given us the number or the address.
- Share you. Send your listing to someone else planning the same trip.
All of it is built and working today, for a business that's listed. What's not built yet is the counting, and what to build next is part of what we're asking below.
What each action shows you.
Searches that found you. Your listing opened. Favourites saved for later. Directions requested. Your website opened. Calls and messages that came in. Your listing shared with someone else.
They're not all worth the same. A call or a message is the one you act on. Someone reached out, that's a name to follow up with. Directions and a website visit are real interest on the way to something. A save is a warm list. Someone wants to come back to you. A share means someone thought of you enough to pass you on. Being found in a search is reach, the context under everything else. A social platform telling you "you appeared in 400 searches" is the kind of number nobody renews a subscription on; "eleven people tried to call you" is a sentence you can actually price.
The actions themselves are live now. The counting isn't built yet, only feedback is, which we already capture and act on directly.
What we want to ask you.
Discover Liwa doesn't have a subscription fee, a contract, or a bill waiting at the end of this page, and this isn't a pitch to get you to sign up. We're building the supply side of this app with the businesses that make Al Dhafra worth visiting, and that only works if we ask instead of assume.
So: what would make Discover Liwa genuinely useful for a business like yours? What do visitors and residents actually need to know before they choose you over somewhere else? What would you want an app like this to do that it doesn't yet?
There's no pricing, and no plan for one right now. If that ever changes, you'll hear it from us directly, with specifics, not a surprise on an invoice. Right now, we'd rather learn what you need than tell you what you're getting.
Now. Next. Later.
Live today
Your listing itself, everything in the list above, and feedback we capture and act on directly. That's real, and it's working now. Learn more about the app.
Next, once the offer proves out
The infrastructure that turns "someone did something" into a number tied to your listing: the tools to capture and share the data that means the most to your business.
Later
Your own numbers, a login where you can see them, and eventually the one thing that would make "this listing brought you customers" literally provable rather than a strong signal: a way for you to confirm, in your own till or booking system, that someone who found you through Discover Liwa actually showed up.
We're telling you where this stands because we'd rather build this with you than finish it and sell it to you. That's the honest shape of it.
Come onboard.
If any of this sounds like your business, come onboard. Sign up and tell us what you offer. It's free to be part of this, and we'll be in touch as things come together.
